Oltmans takes home two awards from ENR California 2023 Regional Best Projects
Downtown Los Angeles, CA - At the 2023 ENR Regional Best Projects, we're thrilled to announce two of our projects Toyota Logistics Center, Long Beach and Children's Institute Inc., Watts both took home awards for Best Airport/Transit and Award of Merit - Interior/Tenant Improvement respectively. We are proud to be recognized for our work and would like to thank our clients and partners for their continued support.

Toyota Long Beach won in the category, Best Airport/Transit. Toyota’s new west coast distribution headquarters consists of a 155,000 s.f. post-production building, 5,200 s.f. car wash, and a 3,500 s.f. fuel island. Learn more about this project here.
Award of Merit - Interior/Tenant Improvements. Designed pro bono by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Children’s Institute Inc., Watts Campus project is a 2-story steel-framed facility at the corner of E. 102nd Street and Success Avenue in Watts, CA. The facility’s primary purpose is to house therapeutic and supportive programs for local children and families including individual and group counseling, parenting workshops,and Project Fatherhood sessions. The facility is home to the Watts Gang Task Force, that have brokered peace in the community for nearly 15 years, along with the LAPD Community Safety Partnership, a nationally-recognized model for relationship-based policing.
