At Oltmans Construction Co., our established policies and procedures demonstrate our commitment to safety through transparent communication and the implementation of sustainable safety checks.

One of our top focuses is to identify risk. By focusing on prevention, we practice raising awareness in advance, allow for early substitution/mitigation of activities that may be unsafe, and reduce any opportunity for injury.

This effective approach has heightened the safety culture within the company. We recognize that all employees and trade partners are crucial members in achieving this overall mission of enduring welfare and future success.

Key Elements of our Safety Department

Bi-weekly site reviews are done by our safety director and manager to ensure safety compliance and with focus on risk identification.
All subcontractors undergo a comprehensive prequalification process to evaluate workload capacity, insurance coverage, financial health, and safety program sufficiency
Oltmans’ corporate injury and illness prevention program (IIPP) and safety department is managed by a full time, in-house safety director
All superintendents are certified in OSHA 30-hr., CPR/first aid, ladder safety, confined space, and hazard communication
