Oltmans Construction Ranked Among Area’s Largest Private Firms; Rises Seven Spots

Whittier, CA-based Oltmans Construction Co. has risen seven spots to rank 41st among “L.A.’s 100 Largest Private Companies”, according to the LOS ANGELES BUSINESS JOURNAL’S recently-published list.

In addition to making a significant jump in the rankings, Oltmans Construction Co. also represented the highest ranked commercial and industrial general contractor engaged in private projects, based on the LABJ rankings.

The LABJ rankings of private companies were determined by total revenues for 2007 where Oltmans Construction Co. checked in with $326 million.

The latest LABJ recognition for Oltmans Construction Co. comes on the heels of the publication honoring the company earlier this year as Los Angeles County’s “Best Construction Company” within the region’s industrial real estate sector.”

Among outstanding projects by Oltmans Construction Co. are the Gateway Pointe Industrial Park, a 1.6 million square foot development in the Whittier/City of Industry area, the $20 million Living Spaces Furniture warehouse and showroom renovation project in Panorama City, and the 75,000 square foot headquarters for Mechanix Wear in Valencia.
