Carpenters (WSRCC) Downtown 10th Floor TI

Through careful planning and execution, the 10th floor of the Carpenter’s Union building was transformed into a state-of-the-art office space.

Remodel the entire 10th floor of the Carpenter’s Union building and implementing several key upgrades. The 10,500 s.f. Renovation’s objective was to bring the office space up to Title 24 and ADA code and produce an aesthetically pleasing, modernized office space for Carpenter’s Southwest. The project scope included installing switchlite glass in the conference room to provide privacy and sound insulation, adding wood veneer paneling to the walls, incorporating linear light fixtures on a hard-lid ceiling, and reconfiguring the restrooms. Oltmans accelerated the schedule by implementing night work to meet the owner’s timeframe. Completing the renovation at night also allowed Oltmans Construction Co. to overcome the limited parking availability and maintain building operations during regular business hours. The privacy glass was a critical path long lead, item that was released and pre-ordered before field dimension verification to meet the scheduled completion date.
