The Western States Carpenters organization provides valuable training and employment opportunities for apprentices through community workforce training with the local trade unions. The improved Carson facility will continue to positively impact the surrounding residents by providing local construction career opportunities previously absent in the surrounding community.
Renovation of a 78,556 s.f., two-story office and warehouse building in Carson, CA for the Western States Carpenters. The facility first built in 1986, now serves as the first base of operations and headquarters for the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters Western in the South Bay. The comprehensive tenant improvement project involved a complete remodel of the interior spaces, including offices, assembly areas, classrooms, and a vocational welding shop. Renovations extended beyond the interior, revitalizing the building’s exterior façade and improving site accessibility. Key site improvements included the installation of a two-stop elevator, ADA-compliant parking upgrades, and landscaping rehabilitation, including wrought iron site fencing.
